Rainmaker Hospitality is looking for a dynamic, relationship-driven Director of Group Catering to lead group sales efforts for Courtyard Lexington North and SpringHill Suites Louisville Hurstborne. This role is perfect for someone who loves connecting with people, closing business, and bringing events to life—while growing their career in a collaborative, forward-thinking hospitality environment.
This position focuses exclusively on group and catering sales, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in what you do best: building partnerships, creating memorable group experiences, and driving revenue—without being stretched across multiple segments.
What You’ll Do-
Own and grow group and catering sales for both hotels, from initial inquiry through contract execution

Respond to and actively pursue group leads from brand channels, third parties, and direct outreach

Negotiate rates, manage contracts, and secure deposits and payment details

Collaborate with on-property teams to ensure seamless execution and exceptional guest experiences

Identify new opportunities in corporate groups, SMERF, social events, and local demand drivers

Conduct site visits, client meetings, and property tours

Maintain accurate records and forecasting in brand-required systems

Participate in strategy sessions with leadership to drive performance and innovation

You’ll work with two distinct, well-positioned hotels in strong markets

You’ll be part of a team-based sales structure—you’re supported, not siloed

You’ll collaborate regularly with fellow Directors, leadership, and on-property teams
