Growing Radiology practice seeking a dynamic leader to join our team. This individual will be highly knowledgeable in the medical industry that encompasses day to day operations, revenue cycle management, vendor relations, and leads the teams to continue the mission and vision of the practice.

 

This is a full-time, salary-exempt, opportunity.

 

The Director of Clinical Operations will be responsible for leading and overseeing operations of multiple outpatient radiology facilities throughout Chesapeake Medical Imaging’s footprint. This includes the management and supervision of site/department managers and Revenue Cycle Management.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Oversight of day-to-day operations of all facilities in accordance with set policies and procedures
  • Mentors imaging modality leaders, imaging center and regional managers and directors of other clinical departments
  • Develops and maintains policies and procedures that meet overall compliance standards developed CMI
  • Monitor vendors relationships to ensure that they efficiently and effectively provide needed services while staying within budgetary limits
  • Establish and implement departmental guidelines, goals, and procedures
  • Implement and oversee patient safety audits to ensure patient safety measures were followed by technical staff in coordination with Safety Officer
  • Ensure policies & procedures are updated in accordance to state and federal laws and regulations
  • Oversee and create Quality Assurance programs to improve performance and maintain high standards of care
  • Ensures best-practice knowledge-sharing across modalities to improve overall patient experience.
  • Knowledgeable of accepted insurances and all billing processes to ensure proper collections and payment. 
  • Ensures all patient, provider, and employee complaints are handled professionally.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management or related field
  • 10+ years extensive experience in staff development, customer relations, operations management, project management
  • Experience in managing a healthcare practice with multiple sites, preferred
  • Proficient using various software (G-Suite, EMR systems, MS Office, CRM)
  • Proven dynamic leadership and management skills
  • Strategic, innovative and creative personality with a strong business acumen
  • A passion for working in and managing a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Adept multi-tasker with ability to quickly prioritize and effectively delegate tasks
