How you will Impact PLATFORM
The successful candidate will provide service excellence to our customers and insurance markets by servicing and maintaining the existing portfolio as well as pursuing new business. How you will be Successful

  • Provide outstanding customer service to the assigned book of business
  • Develop and enhance advisory relationships with your client contacts.
  • Act as primary client relationship manager in coordination with the account service team
  • Meet with clients in person independently or with senior management
  • Own and be responsible for exceeding PLATFORM’s client service expectations
  • Own and be responsible for retaining your assigned accounts
  • Ensure client service levels and stewardship reports (where appropriate) are completed within the agreed time frame
  • Manage, attend and follow up on deliverables from client meetings
  • Ensure day-to-day service requests (Certificates, Changes) are being met in a timely manner. This should be done in coordination with the account service team.
  • At renewal, ensure all relevant markets are approached in a timely manner (90-120 days prior).
  • Co-ordinate all renewal options and present to the client 30 days in advance of renewal.
  • Attempt to make every effective date the first of the month (extend coverage at inception
  • Ensure premium finance terms have been furnished with every quote.
  • Ensure a payment schedule and understanding has been secured from the client
  • Ensure all accounts are paid and current within 60 days of inception of coverage.
  • Independently grow the book of business year over year via cross selling and the procurement of new accounts.
  • Champion the brokering process with the help of the account service team on new business opportunities.
  • Complete proposals and presentations to help attract new clients
  • Penetrate existing book with additional lines of coverage (Cyber, D&O, Pollution, E&O, Excess Liability etc).
  • Be present and available whenever possible in the office for colleagues questions and issues as needed.
  • Know, understand, and find ways to apply the PLATFORM Core Values to your everyday job.
  • Be a mentor to those that need it, and a helpful, positive addition to your team and PLATFORM,
  • Keep an open mind and be willing to learn new things and share what you know with others
  • Be an ambassador for PLATFORM by promoting the firm both internally and externally
  • Participate and contribute to PLATFORM meetings, committees and events. 

How you will Impact PLATFORM

  • 8+ years of Construction or Real Estate Insurance experience
  • Knowledge of Applied Systems EPIC Broker Management System is preferred
  • AMF License required
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Team orientation with strong interpersonal skills
