Dining Room Supervisor
HOURS: FULL TIME: 40-45 hours average per week. 5-6 days per week. Hours of work will be any variety of shifts between the hours of 5:30 a.m. and 12:00 a.m. Weekdays, weekends and holidays are required.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Assists with coordinating the daily operations and goals of the Dining Room, Banquets and Brunch. Has direct supervision, and assists with training and scheduling of the Wait and Hosting Staff. Coaches team members on effective cross selling and upselling to increase guest check averages and Perk’s memberships. Monitors schedules and activities of all employees to assure that they are productive and cost efficient. Coordinates the cleaning of the various food service areas. Enforces controls, policies and procedures of the department and corporation. Assists management in developing reports for analysis and for short-term or long-range goals with the Food & Beverage Dept. Assists with the inventories and purchases necessary supplies and products to operate effectively and to offer quality products and services. Monitors food ticket times and quality to ensure optimum quality for dining guests. Maintains good customer relations with our guests. Assists with completion and administering training reviews and evaluations.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Undergraduate degree in related courses of study or equivalent in experience.
Minimum of two years’ experience in similar guest relations position in like establishment.
Communicative skills and training capabilities.
Knowledge of area attractions and history.
Ability to supervise personnel effectively and evaluate employees by completing training reviews and performance evaluations.
Computer experience required.
