Job Description

Reporting to the VP, Marketing & Sales, you will support the team with a range of marketing, technical, and promotional activities for ECO Canada's products and services. This position requires some previous experience in key areas including CMS platforms, digital advertising, content, email marketing, data analytics, and more.

While each member of ECO Canada has individual responsibilities, ECO takes a team-based approach. Everyone is encouraged to take ownership of his/her ideas and to see them through to completion, collaborating with key influencers as required.

The Digital Marketing & Customer Experience Manager supports marketing activities and is responsible for ensuring brand integrity, accuracy, and an omnichannel experience across all digital mediums. As an integral part of the Marketing team, with 2 direct reports, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that promote our products and services across our digital platforms. You'll manage various channels, like our website platforms and email marketing, to deliver a persuasive and cohesive marketing strategy to our audiences.

As a key member of the Marketing team, the Digital Marketing & Customer Experience Manager will have a passion for an exceptional digital customer journey, keen attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.


Responsibilities

  • Support implementation of company's digital media strategy, including online campaigns to engage consumers, develop online reputation, and further brand awareness of the company.
  • Serve as a global "webmaster", guiding development of website(s) and managing all digital properties.
  • Manage a team of 2 digital marketing specialists.
  • Lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution. The digital marketing manager will work with the marketing team, supporting teams, and vendors to launch campaigns on time and on budget.
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
  • Interact with business stakeholders to obtain, clarify, and verify requirements for projects.
  • Introduce and promote digital marketing best practices such as segmentation, testing, and analytics.
  • Helps define customer centric value propositions within the assigned business areas using domain expertise and leveraging market, competitor, and customer insights.
  • Work proactively with all members of the Marketing, Sales, Project, and Research teams to identify new opportunities using digital marketing tools to create market awareness and interest for our services and enhancing customer relationships.
  • Manage paid digital marketing budget and campaign pacing.
  • Manage and maintain company websites (WordPress).
  • Write content for websites, email campaigns, newsletters, and more.
  • Maintain and update the company website to ensure content text and images are accurate.
  • Create, monitor, track, evaluate, and optimize campaign performance.
  • Manage budget/forecast and program planning.
  • Create digital dashboards and performance summary reports for all digital properties.


Qualifications

  • Web Design (User Interface) & site architecture experience.
  • Technical aptitude for working in multiple software programs and systems.
  • Knowledge of how advertising works on YouTube and Google display network (knowledge of ad formats, targeting options, remarketing techniques).
  • Project leadership skills, and the development, creative, and communications expertise necessary to effectively collaborate, negotiate, clarify, and build solutions.
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing, email, and/or display advertising campaigns.
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns.
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels with A/B and multivariate experiments.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively with teams and develop collaborative working relationships.
  • Positive, can-do attitude with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.


Education and Experience

  • Advanced WordPress knowledge and experience.
  • Experience using MS Office applications as well as general computer skills including file management.
  • Post-secondary education in the field of web design, marketing, communications, or a related discipline.
  • Excellent command of the English language, with strong emphasis on written and verbal communication.
  • Experience with website content management, development, and writing for the web.


This is a full-time position, with a 90 day probationary period upon start date. ECO Canada offers the opportunity for a hybrid work arrangement (minimum 3 days per week at the Calgary office and the option to work remotely for the remaining 2 days).
