Location: Masonic Homes Kentucky – Louisville, KY
Schedule: 11AM – 7:30 PM | Rotating Weekends

lead dietary aides and oversee daily meal service for residents in assigned dining areas
manage and participate in the tray line process, ensuring meals are served accurately, on time, and according to residents’ dietary needs
perform regular quality control checks to confirm portion sizes, food temperatures, and presentation meet standards
ensure resident preferences, diets, and hospitality expectations are consistently honored
train and support dietary staff on sanitation, safety, and food handling procedures
serve as the point of contact for staffing and team needs during your shift
inspect kitchen, storage, and dining areas to maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance
communicate operational updates and improvement opportunities to the Dietary director and leadership team
support department closing duties—verifying cleaning is complete, equipment is secured, and all areas are ready for the next shift
lead by example, fostering teamwork and a positive, resident-focused environment
2+ years of experience in food service leadership or senior living dining roles
strong communication, organization, and mentoring skills
ability to perform quality assurance checks and maintain high standards of service and safety
critical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
ability to lift/move 25 lbs frequently and up to 60 lbs occasionally
must be able to work a rotating weekend schedule
high school diploma or GED required; continuing education in hospitality, nutrition, or management preferred
