Dietary Cook - Day Shift, Part-Time

Summary

Under the direction of the Dietary Manager:

• Responsible for all aspects of meal preparation, meal service, and overall food quality according to the planned menu, resident preferences, and physician-ordered therapeutic diets and plans of care
• Demonstrates appropriate sanitation and infection control practices to meet state and federal regulations
• Oversees the general kitchen operations in the absence of the Dietary Manager

Qualifications / Requirements

• Quantity food preparation experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Per the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), COVID-19 vaccination is required, with exceptions for medical and religious accommodations when reasonable

Job Type: Part-Time

Shift/Schedule: Day Shift, Flexible Scheduling; approx. fifteen (15) hours/wk

Wage Range*: $17.00/hr-$20.50/hr, Negotiable (DOE)

Years of Experience Incentive Pay: $0.15/per year, up to ten (10) yrs

Weekend Differential: $2.00/hr
