West Janisch Health Care Center, a 5-Star rated skilled nursing facility, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dietary Cook to join our team. Our Cooks play an essential role in supporting the health and well-being of our residents by preparing nutritious, high-quality meals in a safe and welcoming environment.

• Prepare ingredients, including washing, chopping, and measuring.

• Cook and present meals according to menu specifications and dietary needs.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety and sanitation procedures.

• Assist with dishwashing, inventory, and food storage.

• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, nursing staff, and leadership.

• Follow recipes, presentation standards, and facility dietary guidelines.

• Minimum of 1 year of cooking experience (healthcare or large-scale kitchen preferred).

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality food preparation.

• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Basic math and measurement skills.

• Team-oriented attitude and strong communication skills.
