Dietary cook

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Dietary team; the ideal candidates will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of nutrition and dietetics to ensure that our patients receive optimal dietary care. 

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of the dietary department, ensuring compliance with health regulations and standards.
• Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess patient nutritional needs and develop appropriate meal plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide integrated care plans that address patients' dietary requirements.
• Manage budgeting for the dietary department, including food procurement and inventory control.
• Lead and train dietary staff, fostering a collaborative environment focused on quality patient care.
• Monitor patient progress through regular assessments and adjust dietary plans as necessary.

Experience

• Dietary Management in a Healthcare facility is required
• Strong knowledge of nutrition principles, physiology, and health coaching techniques.
• Experience with budgeting and financial management within a dietary context is advantageous.
• Familiarity with tube feeding protocols and aliment management is a plus.
• Dietary Certification is a plus.
