Dietary Cook

Hours/Shifts: 

• 11:00am to 7:00pm (Must be flexible)
• Must be available to work some weekends

Principal Responsibilities: 

• Review menus prior to food preparation and prepare meals up to established standards.
• Work with the Dietary Supervisor and/or Dietician as necessary and implement recommended changes as required.
• Ensure that food procedures are followed in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary environment of the Dietary department.

 Requirements:  

• Valid Identification  
• Excellent verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills  
• High integrity and well-grounded work ethic  
• Agility and flexibility with changing priorities  
• Team-oriented and a practical team-player  
• Professional demeanor  
• At least one year of experience as a cook or in a dietary environment (preferred)
