Job Responsibilities for Dietary Aide

• Assists with food prep in accordance with state and federal guidelines and regulations and established policies and procedures
• Ensures that special diets are followed and that food is delivered in a timely manner
• Works directly with the Cook, Kitchen Manager, Director of Dining Services, and Dietitian to deliver meals, snacks, and drinks to the residents in our community.
• Properly documents meal and fluid intakes during mealtime.
• Develops and maintains a good working rapport with inter-department personnel as well as other departments to assure that food service can be properly maintained to meet the needs of residents

Job Qualifications for Dietary Aide

• Seeking a candidate that enjoys and takes pride in providing a quality dining service experience.
• Previous job experience preferred but not required
• Must have excellent time management skills and be able to work within deadlines
• Must be able to maintain a courteous, friendly, and helpful attitude with residents, visitors, and co-workers at all times
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs
