Dietary Aide

This position may work at Mennonite Memorial Home or Maple Crest - both located in Bluffton. The dietary aide is a great entry-level position to be introduced into the food, healthcare, or elder care industry. Gain meaningful relationships and make a difference in the lives of our residents! • Pays attention to portion control to ensure nutritional needs are met.
• Assists with setting up food carts ensuring proper food temperatures are maintained; pushes and pulls food, dishes, and bus carts weighing approximately up to 200 pounds to deliver carts to dining rooms as assigned; sets up dining room, cleans dining room following meals, assist in receiving and storage of food and kitchen supplies (e.g., lifts and carries containers of food and dishes weighing approximately up to 40 pounds; etc.). 
• Assists with cleaning kitchen work areas, assists with the washing and cleaning of dishes, glasses, and utensils either by hand washing or use of the dishwasher.
