• Working directly with or for a dietitian to create and administer specific diet plans
• Ensuring patients staying in a healthcare facility maintain a healthy diet
• Assisting in all aspects of food service assembly
• Ensuring all dishes adhere to a particular menu
• Maintaining health and sanitization standards
• Working with a trained dietician to determine and implement the dietary requirements for a group or individual patient
• Doing food preparation and menu planning
• Assisting in the kitchen with meal preparation, food serving, and cleanup
