Diesel Mechanic

AE Commercial Property Maintenance is looking for a full time diesel mechanic to service our 17+ vehicle fleet. We are looking for someone reliable, can take direction and grow with the company.

Duties and qualifications are but not limited to:

• Running diagnostic tests on diesel engines and interpreting the results to offer suitable solutions
• Inspecting all vehicles each day
• Repairing or replacing vehicle transmissions, brakes, engines and other associated parts
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems
• Oil changes
• Tire changes
• Run parts 
• Maintaining records of parts inventory and serviced vehicles
• Advanced knowledge of a vehicle, its electrical system and the mechanisms of a diesel engine
• In-depth knowledge of diesel engine components and operational mechanisms
• Superior knowledge of maintenance tools and repair equipment
• Comfortable using mechanical and electrical power tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Keen attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of computer systems and other relevant electronics
• Effective collaboration and communication skills
• Have some tools already (preferred)
• Keep things clean and organized

Must have a valid drivers license and cleaning driving record.
