Position: Diagnostic Radiologist


Location: Southwest Georgia


Community-based teaching hospital is looking to add a full-time Diagnostic Radiologist to their team of highly trained physicians. Offer patients high-quality, comprehensive care within a state-of-the-art, ACR accredited diagnostic imaging department. Enjoy a week-on, week-off schedule and only work 26 weeks of the year!


Requirements:

  • Completion or upcoming completion of radiology residency or fellowship
  • Board-certified physician or board certification eligible (if eligible, must obtain board certification within 4 years)
  • Georgia Medical License or participation in Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
  • Proficiency in the following modalities: CT, MRI, ultrasound, vascular studies, nuclear medicine, PET, mammography, and DEXA
  • Ability to perform light interventional radiology procedures

Practice Highlights:

  • Predictable 7-on/7-off schedule: Monday to Sunday, 8 AM – 5 PM
  • Extra pay for 5 PM – 9PM coverage
  • Full range of diagnostic services including 128 Slice CT scans, 3T MRI, ultrasound, vascular studies, nuclear medicine, PET scans, mammography, and DEXA bone densitometry
  • Several imaging departments hold national accreditation: MRI, CT scan, PET/CT scan, and mammography are accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR) or Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Echo Labs (ICAEL), while the Nuclear Cardiac Lab is accredited by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC).
