Positive Steps Therapy, a leading provider of children’s therapy services, is currently seeking a Developmentalist/Special Instructor to join us in providing Early Intervention services, to children ages birth through three, in Greene County. This is a flexible part-time opportunity with the goal to work one-on-one with families in their homes and in the community, while supporting them through teletherapy during COVID 19. As an early interventionist, you have the ability to make a positive impact on a child, while coaching their family members through interventions based on their daily routines in the child’s natural setting. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with physical, occupational, and speech therapists to plan and carry over goals while working on the Individual Family Service Plan.

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in one of the following areas, or have a Bachelor’s degree with at least 18 credit hours in early child development:  Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Family and Child Services, or related majors. Candidates should have at least one year of experience working with children age five or younger who have a developmental delay. This position requires travel and candidates must have their own transportation.
