As a Development Project Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting our mission of enriching the communities where we live through thoughtful development, diligent stewardship, and deliberate corporate citizenship. This role is vital in ensuring the financial health, operational efficiency, and compliance integrity of our development projects.

 

Job Responsibilities:

This job will support the project team with the following:


In alignment with our commitment to honest dealing and thoughtful work, you will:

·  Assist in project planning, developing detailed project schedules, milestones, and resource allocation strategies.

·  Schedule contractors and facilitate vendor setup and communication to ensure smooth project execution.

·  Conduct budget management, monitoring expenses and ensuring financial objectives are achieved.

·   Develop cash flow projections and perform basic financial modeling for projects.

·   Collaborate with the accounting department, addressing inquiries and verifying financial accuracy.

·   Process invoices and ensure proper documentation for work completion.

·   Manage & understand project compliance requirements, collecting certifications and maintaining adherence to regulations.

·   Track projects through the Project Sight software.

·   Provide regular reporting to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting project progress and solutions to challenges.

·   Handle document scanning and organization, ensuring information is accessible for future reference.

·   Support the Development Project Manager with special projects, strategic initiatives and other tasks as assigned.

·   Develop and oversee project budgets, ensuring financial accuracy and alignment with company objectives.

·   Coordinate vendor setup and manage communications, fostering strong relationships and ensuring seamless project execution.

·    Create and analyze financial models to support project planning and investment decisions.

·   Process and manage invoices, verifying work completion and ensuring timely payments.

·    Assists the Development Project Manager with special projects and other tasks as assigned.


Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  •  High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Accounting or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in project management, preferably in real estate development or construction preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

 

Compensation, Hours & Benefits:

This position is full-time at 37.5 hours a week, normal business hours are from 8:30am-5:00pm with a one-hour lunch with after-hours work as needed in case of emergency. This is a full-time salaried-exempt employee position meaning work being performed is not subject to overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act. Exempt employees are paid salary. The salary range for this position will be $65,000-$75,000/year, paid bi-weekly.

Benefits will start after 90 days. These benefits include health insurance, paid time off & Simple IRA plan.

 

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:


Physical & Mental Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability & licensed to drive.  
  • Ability to perform tasks commonly found in an office environment such as talking on the telephone, reading documentation both in hard copy and on computer, writing, computer data entry, filing, faxing, copying etc.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds at times.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new things and acquire new skills. 
  • Ability to function in a multi-tasking environment.
  • Able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form.  
  • Ability to think logically and prioritize tasks.
