Development Coordinator

Share:

The Development Coordinator (DC) is responsible for assisting the Head of School with all major donor relationships as well as supporting and sustaining mid-level donor relationships through communication regarding pledges, other strategic touchpoints, and invitations to school events to provide AACS with a strong, ongoing base of financial support.

Essential to the role is a basic understanding of the biblical view of giving. This understanding needs to be evident in the life of the individual, who must be able to speak to others about the value of generosity from his or her own personal experience. Alongside this, it is also important that this individual has a proper perspective on wealth. A DC should not be enamored or intimidated in the presence of those who have wealth. Additionally, a DC must have an understanding of protocol and an ability to feel comfortable in a setting outside their own social structure.
