🧵 Your Mission
As a Design Product Coordinator, you’ll take the reins after the first prototype is created—bringing the final product to life with precision, collaboration, and technical finesse. You'll be the glue between creative, technical, and production teams, ensuring every piece is runway (and competition) ready.
This role is perfect for someone passionate about fashion design, product development, and manufacturing—who can speak both creative and technical fluently.
🔧 What You’ll Own
🎨 Creative & Technical Refinement
- Analyze and tweak prototypes based on customer feedback and fit/performance standards
- Evaluate fit, garment construction, fabric performance, and embellishments
- Perform fittings on models and capture photo documentation
🖼 File + Guide Management
- Update tech packs, print files, crystal and appliqué guides in Illustrator
- Measure prototypes against block patterns and verify tolerances
- Organize and maintain development documentation from start to approval
📣 Communication & Coordination
- Act as point-of-contact between design, sales, operations, and overseas factories
- Translate customer preferences and feedback into actionable factory directives
- Approve final prototypes and guide production readiness
📊 Process & System Tracking
- Maintain order status updates in Salesforce/lifecycle management platforms
- Ensure records and communication are accurately stored and searchable
🧠 What You Bring
- 🎓 2- or 4-year degree in Fashion Design OR hands-on garment construction experience (seamstress, tailor, patternmaker, etc.)
- 🖥 Expert-level Illustrator skills; Excel and MS Office proficiency
- 👕 Deep understanding of garment construction, patterning, and fabric behavior
- 🗂 Extreme attention to detail and high organizational discipline
- 📞 Strong communication skills—especially in translating creative feedback into technical language
- 🕒 Thrive under pressure and tight timelines with a sense of urgency
- 🔁 Flexible, fast learner with a positive, team-first mindset
- 💡 Bonus: Experience with Salesforce or PLM systems
🛠 Working Conditions
Most of your time will be at your desk, but during prototype fittings, you'll be on your feet, using your hands to handle materials. Occasionally, you may need to climb a ladder in the prototype room.
