Truck Driver - Delivery Material Handler

Class 3Q

(Full-time, permanent)

Delivery Material Handlers are responsible for delivering and placing building materials onto commercial and residential customer job sites.

DUTIES

• Delivery, unloading and placement of building materials in a timely and safe manner according to customer specifications
• Operate remote controlled picker cranes, rough terrain forklifts and conveyers
• Drive 4/5 axle trucks with tridem pup trailers to jobsites 
  
• Hoist building materials 

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid Class 3Q driver's license and satisfactory driver's abstract (no more than 2 minor violations)
• Previous experience driving delivery trucks and operating other machinery
• Ability to work at heights (residential rooftop deliveries)
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly and for extended periods of time
• Ability to walk on uneven surfaces, carry, and lift heavy, bulky items
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Must successfully pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test
  
• Must provide a satisfactory criminal record check
