Delivery, Bulk Landscape

West coast Gardens is a family-owned nursery and garden centre located in South Surrey. We are looking for Seasonal help to work in our bulk landscape materials department. We grow our own plants in our extensive greenhouses, having a nationwide wholesale and shipping division, and a thriving retail garden centre. Responsibilities 

·         Assist customers in the bulk soil division.

·         Operation of machinery such as tractor, forklift and mini dump truck.

·         Abide by Occupational Health and Safety regulations.

·         Ability to assist customers on POS when it’s busy, accuracy and efficiency and the ability to conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times

·         Forklift operation on the SDCB forklift, as well as tractor operation

·         Loading vehicle for delivery

·         Unloading deliveries from suppliers. 

Qualifications 

·         Valid Class 5 Drivers license

·         Excellent customer service skills 

·         Clean Drivers Abstract

·         Willing to undergo a background check

·         Ability to stand for long periods of time 

·         Ability to lift up to 50lbs 

·         Strong team player and able to work autonomously 

·         Must be available weekends
