Job Summary:

The Store Manager is the senior leader responsible for all operations related to the store, sales revenue, customer service and management at DCF Guns. This leader is a vital member of the DCF Guns team and must be a forward thinking, passionate and self-driven individual with the abilitiy to actively lead a team with a can-do attitude. The Store Manager is consistently interacting with all members of the DCF Guns staff, customers and vendors. The success and growth of DCF Guns, Castle Rock will depend on the leadership and management ability of this individual. To be successful in this role a candidate should be a proactive, experienced and motivated person who works best under pressure, can effectively resolve conflict and understand the vital importance of compliance with government regulations.

General Responsibilities:

  • Provides customers' information about products or services, takes, or enters orders, cancels memberships, or obtains details of complaints.
  • Ensures full customer satisfaction and maintains a friendly, helpful demeanor.
  • Ensures proper documentation and processing of firearms and related articles according to federal regulations.
  • Creates strategies to ensure company profitability is maintained and goals are met.
  • Works with marketing and design teams to promote store sales strategies.
  • Identifies and prioritizes problems and issues related to service areas.
  • Keeps records of customer interactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken.
  • Maintains and manages store operations to include the building upkeep, maintenance, and cleaning procedures.
  • Provides guidance and direction to the Sales and Assistant Store Manager.
  • Works with buyer on merchandising and purchasing forecasts.
  • Partners with Compliance Director on needs and strategies for maintaining ATF, OSHA and HR Compliance.

Pay and Benefits:

Full-Time, FLSA Exempt. Base Salary plus Commissions. Flex schedule. Health benefits offered including employer-sponsored health, dental, and vision plans - eligible the first of the month following 30 days of employment. Employer paid life insurance with a $50,000 benefit, effective the first of the month following 60 days of employment (additional amounts available for purchase). Voluntary insurance available including life, AD&D, STD and LTD. 401k available after 6 months of employment. Paid time off. Individual range membership at no charge plus discounts on firearms, ammunition and merchandise. 


Job Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in management/sales
  • Experience: 7-10 years of related experience in Sales. Firearms sales experience preferred.  3-5 years effectively driving and leading a team.

 *This is a full-time position, regular schedule is four 10-hour days which includes evenings and weekends. Pay is base salary plus quarterly bonus'. Must have reliable transportation. Must submit to a background check.  Pay is based on Management and Leadership experience, Sales experience, and/or Firearms knowledge and experience.
