Database Administrator

Veterans Engineering is seeking a Database Administrator  to assist a large federal agency with a project focused on “Authority to Operate (ATO) technical support; database management; project management; risk management; strategic planning support for enterprise systems and modernization; Integration documentation support between internal and external systems; technical analysis of documentation, publications and handbooks; technical analysis of new policies and emerging technologies; systems integration and implementation to include the analysis of program security deficiencies and application integration monitoring through the governance process.”

Expertise

·         Strong knowledge of database management systems, such as Microsoft SQL Server, ETL and MySQL.

·         Proficiency in writing complex structured query language (SQL) queries and optimizing database performance.

·         Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure.

Minimum Education Level

·        Bachelor’s Degree

Degree In/Certifications

·        Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum Experience

·        3 to 5 years of proven work experience as a Data Base Administrator, specifically in the healthcare industry
