Located at our Longview, WA office (This is not a remote position)
Fibre Federal Credit Union is seeking a Full- Time Data Analyst to join our team.

Wage Range: $28.81 - $45.01
* The range above allows our employees room for growth through annual merit and other pay increases based on performance.  The target pay range for this position is typically within the first half of the range.  Compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training.  Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications.

PRIMARY FUNCTION

Responsible for analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns and trends that will help drive Credit Union decisions. This role involves collaborating with various departments to assist in providing insights to enhance our Credit Union's marketing, operations, and member experience. The candidate should possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Maintain existing data models and develop, as needed, new data models to facilitate data analysis and reporting. Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity through data cleansing, validation, and verification.

·         Utilize marketing software to better understand member behavior and participate in marketing recommendations based on data collected and analyzed.

·         Manage project priorities as assigned.

·         Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance data analysis efficiency and accuracy.

·         Collaborate with department team members and cross-functional teams to build strong relationships and develop dashboards, reports, and presentations that effectively communicate data insights.

The individual maintains ongoing communication with leadership concerning activities of the department as well as needs or problems. The individual keeps their leader informed of all pertinent problems, irregularities, new developments, changes, and/or other important information.

·         Written Communication - The individual edits work for spelling and grammar, presents numerical data effectively, and can read and interpret written information.

·         Team Player - Must be a strong team player with an outgoing, positive, can-do attitude and be comfortable with continuously changing opportunities and priorities.

·         Planning/Organizing - The individual prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently, and develops realistic action plans.

·         Quality Control - The individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors their own work to ensure quality.

·         Dependability - The individual is consistently at work and on time (except for those cases protected by law which are outlined in the Employee Guide), follows instructions, responds to management direction, and solicits feedback to improve performance.

·         Observes Policies/Procedures - The individual sets an example in observing (following) Credit Union Employee Guide and Compensation and Performance Guide policies as well as all applicable procedures and internal controls within their area of responsibility.

·         Image - The individual must display a positive and professional image.

 

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS

Possess high school diploma or equivalent

 

Education/Position Knowledge - The individual is required to have the skill and mental development equivalent to the completion of a bachelor's degree to include, but not be limited to, understanding data architectures, practical previous data analytical experience, and experience maintaining the systems and software associated with data architectures and data analytical tools.
