Data Analyst

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst with strong expertise in Power BI and Advanced Excel to join our analytics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming raw data into meaningful insights through dashboards, reports, and data models. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and maintain intermediate level interactive dashboards and visual reports using Power BI and Advanced Excel. 

  • Analyze large raw and structured datasets from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights. 

  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions. 

  • Perform data cleansing, transformation, and validation to ensure data accuracy and consistency. 

  • Create and optimize Power BI data models (star/snowflake schema) for efficient querying. 

  • Automate reporting processes and data refresh schedules. 

  • Monitor data quality and troubleshoot performance issues with reports or data models. 

  • Provide training and support to business users on how to use Power BI reports effectively. 

  

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field. 

  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Analyst. 

  • Proficient in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, Data Modeling, Report Design). 

  • Proficient in Advanced Excel, VBA. 

  • Strong knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulation. 

  • Experience with data warehousing concepts and relational databases. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Certification with other BI tools (PL300, Tableau Specialist) is a plus. 

  • Knowledge of cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, Snowflake) is desirable. 

  • Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis is an advantage. 

  • Experience with version control tools (GitHub Repository, GitHub Actions) is a plus.
