Dance Instructor

Introduction:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Dance Instructor to join our team and provide fun and educational dance instruction to young children. The Dance Instructor will be responsible for implementing lesson plans, supervising and interacting with children, and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with other team members. 

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that are age-appropriate, progressional and fun for each age group.

• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, including enforcing rules and policies and addressing any behavioral issues

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children's progress and development

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure continuity of services

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children of all ages

• Deep knowledge of Ballet and/or Jazz

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to multitask and handle a rapid pace environment

• Ability to work collaboratively with other team members

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are a plus
