Position Summary

The Customer Trainer will deliver high-quality, detail-oriented training to support Nuclein’s customers during product installations, both virtually and occasionally in person. This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing comprehensive training programs to ensure customers are fully prepared for successful installation and go-live readiness. The trainer will play a key role in developing and delivering technical training that enhances customer understanding and product utilization. A strong focus on organization, clear communication, and customer success is essential, as this role will ensure a smooth transition through the installation and onboarding process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

·         Design, develop, and deliver engaging product training tools for new and existing products

·         Must continuously invest in education on the products and may be required to set up testing scenarios to obtain the necessary knowledge required for the role

·         Work closely with Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to ensure that their training programs accurately reflect the latest features, installation, and functionality

·         Collaborate with Sales and Order Management on handoff of closed contracts to initiate the shipping of product to new customers

·         Coordinate logistics for the training sessions including attendance and scheduling, room setup and equipment preparation

·         Create and communicate training schedules in coordination with management to meet business needs and objectives

·         Manage training materials to keep relevant and current

·         Archive objective evidence of training attendance, database management, and certification

·         Responsible for the maintenance of appropriate documentation (databases, emails, presentations) and for training results/status to meet management requirements

·         Conduct product training on the entire product line, primarily through virtual/online sessions

·         Track customer preparedness for go-live status within the CRM tool

·         Collect, organize, and review feedback from trainees and management to evaluate the effectiveness of the training programs

·         Must handle stress positively and effectively in a way most appropriate for the benefit of the individual, department, and company

·         Positively respond to change and prioritization of assigned tasks

·         Other related duties as assigned

Education, Qualifications, and/or Experience

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, marketing, business, or other closely related field is preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience within the medical device industry is desired.
• 2+ yrs experience in product training or as a coordinator/administrative role in an educational or training setting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM tools

• Experience working independently under pressure, lead multiple tasks, with multiple deadlines.
• Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish is an asset.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong desire to provide outstanding customer service.
• Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and clear way.
• Displays initiative to find solutions and work effectively with all levels in the organization.
• Expected to become a subject matter expert on all products subject to training.
• Demonstrate the ability to manage time effectively, prioritize work, analyze, and problem solve.
• Experience working independently under pressure, lead multiple tasks, with multiple deadlines.
• Self-motivated with a strong work initiative and attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.

Physical Requirements.  

  • Repetitive motion: Mostly computer use

  • Use of strength: < 25 lbs

  • Position: Sitting and standing

  • Speaking and communicating

  • Occasional use of PPE may be required in laboratory/manufacturing/warehouse areas
