Peninsula Co-op is inviting applications for the position of Customer Service Representative at our Produce Department in our Food Centre located at 2132 Keating X Rd, Saanichton B.C. This is a part-time, permanent position providing 8 -20 hours each week. Our ideal candidate has flexible availability that must include weekdays’ evenings and weekends.

• Always looks for ways to be helpful and go out of their way to assist others; consistently polite.

• Strives to provide an excellent customer service experience.

• Cuts, packages, stocks, and replenishes produce items while consistently adhering to best practices and upholding food safety standards.

• Organizes shelves and food counters in an appealing way to ensure effective merchandising.

• Good with numbers and can handle basic numerical calculations quickly and accurately.

• Look out for their safety and the safety of others.

• Able to be on their feet nearly all of their shift & consistently handling product (1 to 40 pounds).

• Values integrity and honesty; someone to admire and emulate.

Besides working with the best group of teammates and fantastic customers, you’ll be stocking the store, cutting and packaging produce, and generally ensuring our customers & members are taken care of, and the location is clean and safe.
