Customer Service Representative

The Jokey Group consists of 14 production sites in 11 countries, employing over 2,500 employees and supplying customers in over 80 countries. We manufacture high quality injection moulded plastic buckets and lids for food and non-food items.  Using monoplastics, we aim to decrease our environmental impact, and strengthen our contributions towards the development of a sustainable and circular economy

Jokey North America is searching for a Customer Service Representative who can offer professional customer service and support our outside sales team by coordinating customer orders with production planning and shipping.

The position is at our Mitchell Street location, Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Data Entry;

·         Process purchase/sales contracts, general correspondence and other daily activities that facilitate internal and external customer service;

·         Act as a liaison by providing customer service to customers and Area Sales Managers;

·         Prepare and distribute invoices and credit notes;

·         Scanning and Filing into D3;

·         Acceptance, distribution and processing of customer complaints;

·         Report on inventory levels;

·         Prepare reports/ statistics and initiate ongoing improvement of internal processes;

·         Perform safe work practices at all times;

·         Other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Ability to plan and work independently in an organized manner

·         Team player

·         Strong computer skills (MS Office, internet, ERP system)

·         Ability to meet deadlines

·         Organized, detail oriented with a demonstrated attention to detail

·         Good written and verbal communication skills

·         Direct inside sales and sales quotation preparation experience preferred
