DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists in setting up trays and helps the cook to serve at mealtime.
• Make toast, sandwiches, coffee, tea, juice. Cut and peal fruit and vegetables.
• Set up and serve morning resident continental breakfast
• Set up and serve at resident brunch/lunch
• Cleaning worktables, steam tables, refrigerator, kitchen equipment, occasional sweeping and mopping.
• scrapes food from dishes prior to washing.
• Washes cooking utensils by hand, rinsed and sanitized.
• Washes dishes with commercial dish washer.
• Returns clean dishes and utensils to proper place in kitchen.
• Responsible for adherence to safety and infection control policies
• Responsible for maintaining resident confidentiality, resident rights and compliance with vulnerable adult abuse/neglect law.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
