CST TEAM LEAD

We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Community Support Team (CST) Lead. This role is vital to the coordination and delivery of our services, ensuring that our clients receive comprehensive, person-centered care. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, leadership experience, and a passion for helping individuals with mental health and substance use challenges achieve their recovery goals.
What you will do
As the CST Team Lead, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Community Support Team, providing leadership and supervision to a multidisciplinary team of professionals. You will ensure that services are delivered in a coordinated, efficient, and effective manner, adhering to best practices and regulatory standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing the CST, including supervision, support, and evaluation of team members.
- Ensuring that all team members are effectively coordinating care and delivering services that meet the unique needs of each client.
- Overseeing the development and implementation of person-centered treatment plans, ensuring that they are aligned with the client’s goals and recovery journey.
- Conducting assessments, providing direct services, and intervening in crisis situations when necessary.
- Monitoring and ensuring compliance with all state, federal, and agency regulations and policies.
- Facilitating regular team meetings and case conferences to promote collaboration and information sharing.
- Providing ongoing training and professional development opportunities for team members.
- Collaborating with external partners, including other healthcare providers, social services, and community organizations, to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.
- Collecting and analyzing data to monitor the effectiveness of the program and make recommendations for improvement.
- Advocating for clients within various systems, including healthcare, judicial, and social services.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to drive the strategic direction and growth of the CST program by identifying opportunities for community outreach and partnership development.
Qualifications to join a winning team

- A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
- Licensure within the state of North Carolina (LCSW(A), LCMHC(A) LMFT).
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in mental health or substance use services
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices in mental health and substance use treatment.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- A commitment to person-centered care and cultural competence.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
