Currently looking for a Critical Care Educator to support and onboard nursing staff in both the Emergency Department (ED) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a small, standalone, for-profit community hospital that provides essential healthcare services to the underserved and underinsured.
Key Role Details:
- Schedule: Flexible, Monday to Friday (8 AM–4 PM or 7 AM–3 PM)
Role Overview:
The Critical Care Educator will be responsible for:
- Training and onboarding nurses in the ED and ICU.
- Focusing on entry-level ICU practices, including basic triage and trauma stabilization.
- Providing foundational training without the expectation of managing advanced procedures.
Qualifications:
- Experience in educating critical care nurses is required.
- No need for a Master’s degree, but practical experience in hands-on education and nurse onboarding is critical.
