Crisis Walk-in Center – Part-Time Mental Health Worker
Position Description:
We are looking for a Part-Time Mental Health Worker to join our Team!
Nulton Diagnostic & Treatment Center is accepting applications for a Mental Health Worker to provide immediate support and intervention to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis, such as suicidal thoughts, severe anxiety, or psychosis. Duties may include conducting assessments, providing counseling and therapy, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the individual receives appropriate care. Successful candidate may also provide referrals to other mental health services or community resources.
Education, Experience, Skills, Training:
Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling or a related field. Successful candidate should have knowledge of crisis intervention techniques, mental health disorders, and treatment options.
Successful applicant must be able to obtain Act 33, Act 34 and FBI clearances.
