Credit Analyst (NOTE-Application must be completed for consideration)
OBJECTIVE: Perform various analyses, including thorough reviews of financial statements and preparation of reports. Primarily comprised of commercial real estate including land development, residential apartment construction, multi-family homes, hotels and strip centers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The following is a list of essential functions, which may be subject to change at any time and without advance notice. Management may assign new duties, reassign existing duties, or eliminate a function.
• Support the commercial lender by providing operational support/assistance specific to managing the production, flow of pertinent and required due diligence related to assessing and presenting high quality and profitable credit opportunities to the bank in an efficient and timely manner.
• Evaluate and determine the credit risk of commercial credits of high dollar and complexity through detailed financial statement analysis, industry assessment, collateral valuation, cash flow analysis and the ability to repay annual debt service.
• Partner with lender to prepare credit presentation for our Executive Loan Committee and Board of Director meetings.
• Assist bank management in preparing and monitoring various department reports to track credit trend and credit quality.
• Ability to analyze simple to complex financial statements
• Maintain knowledge of Bank’s products and services
• Review and update credit and loan files
• Assist in other areas of the Bank when the need arises
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations
• Perform all task in accordance with Bank policies, operating procedures, internal and external audit as well as examiners regarding work procedures
• Provide information for and support to external audits, compliance reviews, loan reviews, and regulatory examinations
• Participate in bank functions / activities, some of which may be after normal banking hours
• Other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or minimal 2 years credit analyst experience in the financial field. Must have a general knowledge and experience in the operations of the Bank and its functions.

• Traditional retail office environment
• The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet
• Must be able to travel for business related matters
• Job cannot be performed from home
• Expected to be on bank premises prior to opening/closing
