Council Administrator (Quality, Safety, & Value)
Job Title: Project Manager- Council Administrator (Quality, Safety, & Value) PID 2035+
Description:
Support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program as an EHR Council Administrator to provide logistical and programmatic support to CMIO leadership including project management and technical reviews.
Facilitate collaboration between Council leadership, members, and other key stakeholders.
Support tracking and reporting of information in areas to include risks and issues, requirements, change requests, training, and testing.
Contractor will monitor status of all requests and assist leadership in coordinating information with other pillars within EHRM.
Contractor may support other areas of the CMIO pillar as needed
Minimum qualifications:
• Minimum of 10 years of experience. An additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements
• Strong leadership, written/oral communications, analytics, data gathering and organization skills
• Experience managing Information Technology related projects
• Well versed in life cycle and project management methodologies
• Experience in monitoring, tracking and documenting progress with assigned tasks
• Recent clinical experience
• Able to identify and mitigate risks
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or related scientific /technical discipline
Preferred qualifications:
• Experience with implementing Electronic Health Records
• VA experience
• Quality improvement and patient safety experience
At least 3 years of clinical experience with direct patient care
