Cosmetology Instructor – Natural Hair Focus

Overview:
VIP Medical Academy is seeking a Cosmetology Instructor with a focus on Natural Hair to join our dynamic team. This instructor will lead and inspire future professionals in the growing field of natural hair care and styling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging instruction aligned with Ohio Board of Cosmetology and academy-approved curriculum

• Provide hands-on demonstrations in braiding, twisting, locking, and natural hair maintenance

• Prepare students for state board licensure and real-world salon success

• Track and report student progress and attendance

• Maintain a clean, safe, and inclusive classroom environment

Qualifications:

• Ohio Cosmetology Instructor License (or willingness to obtain)

• Minimum 2 years of experience working with natural hair techniques

• Passion for teaching and mentorship

• Strong communication and leadership skills
