Key Responsibilities

SAFETY

General safety of all Greens Hotels guests and associates through safety inspections and compliance, administering of safety awareness programs and training, conducting accident investigations when needed, and timely communication with the Vice President of Operations.

QUALITY ASSURANCE AUDITING

A Quality Assurance Auditor thoroughly inspects the entire hotel facility, interior in guestrooms and public space as well as all back-of-house service areas and all components of the exterior. The QA audit also inspects the staff in every aspect of their presence and role at the hotel, including, but not limited to uniform and nametag policy adherence, hygiene, and appearance, friendliness, and helpfulness, adherence to all policies and SOPs, cash handling, etc. All hotel product and service aspects are measured against brand standards and minimum requirements. An electronic report is created. Each hotel is expected to be QA inspected once per month. QA falls under the purview of the Vice President of Operations.

TRAINING

A Training Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing training initiatives and related programming in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Observations made while conducting QA audits make excellent training topics.

TASK FORCE MANAGEMENT

The Task Force Manager assists at properties in the absence of a General Manager and/or Department Head as needed and/or works on operational projects for the company. Task Force Managers travel to multiple locations and stay at properties for an extended period of time. The Task Force Manager is responsible for the overall success of the hotel including Revenue, Profit, Quality, Sales & Marketing, Community Involvement, and Leadership. The Task Force Manager is responsible for maintaining and enforcing all brand and company standards and policies and procedures until relieved by a permanent replacement manager.

  • Ensure that each Greens hotel is maximizing the Guest and Associate experience.
  • Develop, maintain, and ensure compliance with Greens and brand hotel operating policies and procedures.
  • Motivate, coach, and train GMs & their teams
  • Managing and motivating associates and achieving overall financial results, and guest and associate satisfaction.
  • Ensure proper, appropriate, and timely operations reporting and record-keeping Greens hotels and at the corporate office.
  • Demonstrate a high level of integrity, take ownership of personal and team actions, communicate effectively, promote collaboration, nurture a positive, professional work environment, and ensure the development of, and adherence to, Greens hotel operations policies, protocols, and SOP’s.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Send a daily end-of-the-day activity and accomplishment email to the Greens CFO and copy to corporate team leaders.
  • Read daily Emails from Greens General Managers and respond as appropriate.
  • Conduct private daily telephone call meetings with each General Manager to review daily emails, daily flash reports, daily activities, and performance outcomes.
  • Conduct monthly meetings of Department leaders and General Managers to review operations outcomes, progress, and accountability.
  • Inspect Greens hotels for Quality Assurance standards.
  • Track Greens performance standards for each hotel. Performance standards include:
  • Greens Quality Assurance
  • RevPar Indices
  • Net Operating Income (NOI)
  • Record keeping and reporting
  • Supplies storage, ordering, and PAR maintenance protocols
  • Brand & Greens Guest Satisfaction Indices
  • Conduct regular and timely performance reviews of GMs.
