The Center at Arrowhead is looking for a part-time/full-time COOK to join the Dietary team. The ideal candidate is someone who is a quick thinker and loves what they do. Job Description:
The primary responsibility of the cook is prepare and provide delicious, nutritional meals for our patients and to keep the dining and kitchen area in clean and pristine condition. These individuals will also serve patients food in the dining area during meals.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare meals for patients according to their dietary specifications
- Wash dishes
- Clean kitchen and dining areas
- Stock supplies
Education:
High school diploma or GED
Experience and Specific Requirements:
- Preferred that applicant has at least 1 year of dietary and/or food prep experience in a skilled nursing facility
- Ability to work in a fast paced and sometimes stressful environment while maintaining a calm demeanor
- Must be able to read and take instructions, and follow directions
- Must be able to work both as a team and independently
- Must have good communication skills and be able to read, write, and speak English
- Must be able to bend, reach, stoop, lift 15 lbs minimum.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
