H. E. Neumann, a leading provider of Commercial, Industrial, and Residential Mechanical Contracting services, is seeking a Controls Project Manager to join our growing team!
Responsibilities:
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, and stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
• Oversee the installation, programming, and commissioning of HVAC control systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for control systems and automation projects.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and procurement teams to gather required inputs.
• Analyze project specifications and requirements to develop competitive bids.
• Continuously refine estimating processes and tools to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders, including progress reports, risk assessments, and mitigation plans.
• Manages the selection, ordering, budget and delivery schedule of materials to be procured for the projects.
• Secures pricing and availability from outside vendors and suppliers, mechanical and electrical subcontractors including scope, terms and conditions
• Provides jobsite coordination for panel and field device physical locations.
• Completes project billings in a timely and accurate format to the client.
• Maintains profitability goals and positive cash flow through best business practices and continuous improvement metrics.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, or a related experience.
• 5 years of prior technical or project management experience is desired.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
