Controller

Rapidly growing, privately owned Holding Company located in Norcross, GA is seeking a qualified Controller. The Controller will be responsible for the management and financial reporting of the of holding company and three (3) subsidiaries, operating in five (5) states. The controller will also assist the senior executives of the operating subsidiaries, to enhance profitability and analyze new business opportunities. The operations of the subsidiary companies include business process outsourcing to the lending industry as well as a SaaS application licensed to mortgage lenders and mortgage servicers. 

Required experience: 

• Creation and administration of budgets
• Review of bank account reconciliations
• Management of the accounting and tax reporting
• Supervise general ledger and payroll
• Supervision of all accounts receivable collections activities
• Management of Financial Reporting
• Management of Accounts Payable
• Participate in management meetings
• Develop and maintaining business KPIs
• Prepare month end close and taxes (income and property)
• Assist with acquisition analysis and risk management
• Perform consolidations
• Treasury management, forecasting, and annual audit

Our ideal candidate must have: 

• BS in Accounting or Finance (MBA preferred) 
• CPA designation required 
• Experience in drafting and implementing accounting related policies and procedures 
• Five plus years of hands-on experience with increasing levels of responsibility 
• Solid Microsoft Office skills 
• Advanced level of experience with Sage accounting software (a plus)
