Job Description
Chain of locally-based natural pet food stores is searching for someone to lead the accounting, AP functions, payroll, human resources, benefits administration and other office duties.
Role and Responsibilities
• Manage company accounting using Quickbooks
• Coordinate calculation and payment of sales tax in local jurisdictions
• Manage accounts receivables and accounts payables
• Manage human resources duties including payroll, employee benefits, hiring, termination
• Oversee office projects and operations
• Other office administration duties as deemed by management
Knowledge and Skills Required
• Prior experience with retailers and sales tax
• Thorough knowledge of Quickbooks (Minimum 5 years)
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Microsoft Word and Excel
• 5 years or more related experience in a similar role
