Consumer Lending Manager

First Capital Federal Credit Union is excited to announce that we have a full-time opening for a Consumer Lending Manager at our Headquarters located in York, PA.

In this dynamic role, the ideal candidate will utilize their experience in consumer lending, underwriting, problem-solving, leadership, and communication to help drive the Credit Union’s loan and service goals for their members. The ideal candidate is performance and customer service driven with sound leadership skills and a strong commitment to the success of their team.

Essential Functions:

• Manages day-to-day consumer lending operational functions

• Ensures Consumer Lending operational processes are completed and accurate.

• Manage loan pipelines

• Ensure member service staff are well-equipped to assist members with their lending needs.

• Effectively managers assigned consumer lending staff

Job Specifications

• Three (3) years prior experience in Consumer Lending Operations with approval authority.

• High School Diploma and related experience required. College Degree preferred.

• Strong knowledge of consumer lending products (personal, automobile, home equity).

• Ability to understand and update operational procedures.

• Experience with Loan Application processing software.

• Strong knowledge of vehicle purchase, registration, insurance, titling and valuation methods.

• Requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment with all levels of management and staff.

• Must be eligible to register and maintain licensing with NMLS.

• Ability to effectively use software applications and Microsoft Office Products,

• Collections or Indirect Lending Experience, a plus.  

• Knowledge of federal and state lending regulations.

 Working Conditions

• Work will be conducted in a well-lighted and ventilated office setting.

• Sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and navigating stairwells required during working hours.
