Construction Labourer

We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Labourer with a strong work ethic, the desire to be part of a team, and the skills to assist in the construction of multi-family development project in Lethbridge.

Summary

Reporting to the Site Superintendent, the Construction Labourer is responsible for the maintenance and appearance of our homes, job sites and community. 

Responsibilities

• Assist in quality control of all homes constructed in a project
• Adherence to building code and corporate safety requirements on all sites
• General labour functions such as site clean-up and maintenance as needed throughout our job sites and community
• Assist in performing touch ups and repairs on sub-trade deficiencies
• Assist in minor carpentry work throughout the entire home building process
• Proficient knowledge and use of power tools such as air nailers, skill saw, screw gun
• Experience or willingness to be trained on skid steer loader is an asset
• Experience or willingness to be trained on equipment operation is an asset
• Other tasks as required by the site foreman

Requirements

• Prior building construction experience is required
• Safety training an asset
• Completion of high school diploma is an asset
• Team contributor and willingness to learn
• Good verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of safe work practices and safe job procedures
• Must have own vehicle and valid driver’s license to get to the project site
