Construction Administrator

What You’ll Do-
Receive, organize, file, and retrieve construction and project-related documentation, including contracts, forms, correspondence, and project records

Maintain accurate and up-to-date project files by processing documentation and updating logs, reports, and administrative records

Review project documentation for accuracy, completeness, and consistency, identifying discrepancies and assisting with corrections as needed

Establish and maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems for construction and project documentation

Compile routine reports and summaries to support project tracking and recordkeeping

Prepare and format correspondence, reports, and project-related documents

Provide general administrative and clerical support to project managers and construction leadership

Assist with scheduling calendars, meetings, training sessions, and travel arrangements when needed

Support project-related financial and account records, including basic accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cost tracking, as assigned

Assist other departments by providing project documentation, information, and procedural support

Perform additional administrative duties as needed to support construction and project operations

Three (3) to five (5) years of administrative or clerical experience preferred

Prior experience in a construction, mechanical, or contracting office environment strongly preferred

High school diploma or equivalent required

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple documents and priorities at once

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills

Ability to identify errors or inconsistencies and assist with resolving administrative issues

Proficiency or willingness to learn standard office software and document management systems

Professional composure and reliability when working under deadlines
