CONFORMITY ADMINISTRATOR
JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION SUMMARY: Performs Quality tasks associated with preparing data packages for supplemental type certificates (STC) and aircraft records. Review and identify quality issues associated with STC and aircraft records to include proper compliance with stated procedures. Ensures that aircraft completion and maintenance data packages are completed, reviewed and delivered to customer.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Enter data and update work status in Comlux internal software (e.g., enter typed resolutions, close continuations, attach scans etc.)
2. Audit Work Packages based on instruction and pre-established guidelines.
3. Coordinate with Planning and Quality Control for work package corrections
4. Learn applicable FAA and foreign regulations
5. Support the Records Department in building STC and Maintenance packages.
6. Organize and file aircraft records (Task Cards, Certs, log Books, Customer Records)
7. Retrieve requested records 8. Other duties not specifically covered herein but otherwise assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSES, ETC:
1. High School Diploma or GED is required.
2. Associates or Bachelor’s degree in aviation preferred.
3. 0-2 years’ experience working in records department.
4. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
1. Must be able to read blueprints.
2. Possess a high level attention to detail and time management skills.
3. Must be able to properly utilize materials, reference guides and other resources.
4. Strong knowledge of MS Office software and drafting software.
5. Ability to communicate openly, proactively and effectively.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment described here is representative of those required by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodations. The location where this position works is in an aircraft hangar/office environment which may be subject to weather changes, constant exposure to loud noise, potential contact with hazardous waste material and other safety hazards such as aircraft, steps, interior components: divans, chairs, other cabinets etc.
