Job Summary:

AbStrategy Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Concrete Pourer to join the team at Dex by Gate Precast, a leading manufacturer of high-quality pre-cast concrete products in Atlanta, GA. The Concrete Pourer will play a critical role in the production process, ensuring the accurate and efficient pouring of concrete into molds to create durable pre-cast components used in construction projects. This position requires physical stamina, teamwork, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare molds for concrete pouring by cleaning, assembling, and applying release agents as needed.  

- Mix, pour, and spread concrete into pre-cast molds according to specifications and blueprints.  

- Operate tools and machinery such as vibrators to remove air bubbles and ensure proper concrete consolidation.  

- Monitor the curing process and make adjustments to maintain product quality.  

- Inspect finished pre-cast products for defects and ensure they meet company standards.  

- Assist with the removal of concrete pieces from molds after curing.  

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.  

- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quotas.  

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in concrete pouring, pre-cast concrete production, or a similar construction role preferred.  

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings is a plus.  

- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in varying weather conditions.  

- Familiarity with concrete mixing ratios, curing processes, and finishing techniques.  

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.  

- Reliable team player with good communication skills.  

- Must follow all safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).  

Requirements:

- Must be at least 18 years of age.  

- Valid identification and eligibility to work in the United States.  

- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.  

- Reliable transportation to the Dex by Gate Precast facility in Atlanta, GA.
