Concrete Finisher

D&H United Fueling Solutions, Inc., a fast-growing leader in the petroleum services industry, is looking for an energetic, hardworking, experienced Concrete Finisher in Phoenix, Arizona. A Concrete Finisher is a skilled tradesperson who primarily works in the construction industry.  They are responsible for smoothing and finishing concrete surfaces to complete construction projects.  They may work on concrete floors, sidewalks, roads or curbs, island forms and tank slabs.

Responsibilities: 

·       Placing forms that hold

·       Removing edges

·       Aligning forms for sidewalks, curbs and gutters

·       Compacting materials using power vibrators to create leveled bases

·       Finishing concrete surfaces with rough or smooth patterns depending on the customer’s

·       Signaling truck drivers and moving chutes to facilitate pouring concrete onto forms

·       Casting and spreading concrete to patch voids

·       Rebar placement skills required

·       Basic hand tools, Bi-lingual (a plus), willing to travel within the Arizona market.  Must have transportation

·       American Concrete Institute (ACI) certification a plus

Eduction/Experience:

·       High school diploma/GED required

·       Experience in construction helpful

·       Troubleshooting skills/logical problem-solving skills

·       Basic computer skills

·       Work under time constraints efficiently and have the ability to work well with others

·       Follow all company procedures

·       Pass a drug test, background check and work eligibility requirements

·       Ability to lift 75-100 pounds when necessary during the course of performing their necessary duties

·       Ability to work in a high traffic area
