Guest Experience Agent (August - October)

Are you an expert in all things Martha's Vineyard? If so, come join the dynamic team at the Harbor View Hotel as our Guest Experience Agent. This position is a seasonal position through August 31st (potential to become year round)

• Extensive knowledge of Martha's Vineyard
• Strong organizational skills 
• Desire to help others by providing exceptional customer service to our guests
• Enjoy being part of a team with other hardworking, down-to-earth professionals.

What you will do:

• Provide the following information to guests: Local areas (e.g. social, cultural, attractions), location and hours of operation, all hotel facilities (e.g. the hours of operation, location, daily and weekly events), local area's restaurants and theater/musical productions, airline, automobile rental, transportation directions, personal services
• Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day
• Assist with any plans or arrangements the guest intends to make during their stay
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

 What we ask of you:

• A strong knowledge of the island, including its social and cultural attractions, restaurants, and transportation options
• High energy, exceptional customer service and ability to work as a team
• Strong verbal communication skills in order to accurately follow instructions
• Commitment to work 40 hours per week
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include early morning, late nights, weekends, and holidays
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
