Concessions Cashier/Runner (2025 season)
Cashiers and Runners are the face of the food and beverage experience at Breese Stevens Field. Interested candidates should have a positive attitude, outgoing personality, and work well in group settings.
Cashiers and Runners are generally interchangeable - hired candidates should expect to be assigned to either role, based on the needs of the scheduled shift.
Responsibilities include:
- Greet and accommodate customers with a positive attitude and a smile while fulfilling orders and requests in an accurate and timely manner.
- Cashiers use the Square point-of-sale system to sell food & beverages to customers including processing payment.
- Runners serve as liaisons between Cashiers and the kitchen staff to fill orders efficiently and accurately.
- Under guidance of Concessions Supervisors, maintain cleanliness and health standards in accordance with guidelines set forth by the Dept. of Public Health.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and fun work environment.
Concessions Cashiers and Runners are hired for the outdoor event season at Breese Stevens Field which typically runs from early April to late October. This is a part-time, hourly position with most scheduled work occurring in the late-afternoon and evening. Scheduled hours can include both weekdays and weekends.
Concessions Cashiers and Runners are eligible to earn tips from the stadium tip pool in addition to a base hourly wage.
