The Riviera Club is creating a new ala carte experience and you have the opportunity to be a part of building something special.  The Riviera Club was established in 1933 and has one of the largest outdoor pools in the United States.  As a Dishwasher you will learn that teamwork, timing and communication are essential to everyone’s success. You may find yourself working a variety of stations and positions, as well as other culinary team members assisting you throughout the shift. All positions require great attention to detail, while maintaining a clean and sanitary station. Everyone is responsible for maintaining correct temperatures of food, as well as upholding all other health department specifications to ensure consistency, quality and safety of our food for our Members and guests. We take pride in the product we serve our Members and their guests!

A Concession Stand Supervisor’s Responsibilities include

1.     Train/Cross-Train all employees in any/all appropriate positions pertaining to the Concession Stand
2.     Work with the Executive Chef and Food and Beverage Director in scheduling all aspects of the Concession Stand
3.     Create and implement processes and procedures
4.     Works with the Executive Chef to determine menu offerings
5.     Assist in all aspects pertaining to the concession stand (cooking, cleaning, POS, etc.)
6.     Provides excellent customer service to all Members and their guest who enter in the Concession Stand
7.     Ensures all cleanliness standards are kept up
8.     Will be responsible for building the staff roster
9.     Will handle any Concession Stand related food and beverage issues.
10.  Will handle any Concession Stand related staffing/discipline issues.
11.  Handles any operational issues in a professional manner.
12.  Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

  • Flexibility in scheduling. Weekend, evening, and holiday availability required.

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift 25lbs

  • Commit to 100% Member satisfaction, 100% of the time

  • Ability to help children grow in character, experiences and insights

  • Enthusiastic, Responsible, Dependable, Consistent, Level-Headed, Flexible, and Calm in all situations

·         Must have prior experience working with children; education classes, summer camp, youth programs, recreation, or in a related field.

·         Ability to work as a member of a team and the ability to accomplish tasks without constant direction.

  • Hotel/restaurant or private club service experience in a supervisory or management related capacity with progressive growth and responsibility in the restaurant/private club field preferred, but not required.

  • Great attitude and highly self-motivated.

  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills.

  • Front of House and Sales experience a plus.

  • ServSafe and an Indiana Liquor Server License is a plus
